My 1st project..

For the new house, my first project was to make a wreath for our front door. Everyone I know has a tulle wreath right now. They are cute but I wanted something different.
I wanted to incorporate 3 things:
1. Daisies
2. Our initial 'G'
3. Purple

This is the final product....(the 'G' came out way darker than I wanted..but I'll see if I can fix it later)

How to change Template design?!?!

While I'm thinking about it... If there is anyone that happens to actually be reading this blog...How do I change the Template design?

I'm new to blogger and trying to learn how to work everything. I have one of the default templates but want a cuter one that looks more like me. I found some on another website but it didn't work. 

PLEASE...Help me out!!!!

On the road to..Domestication!

A little more about me...

I just recently graduated from college in May and have been blessed with a job that I start on Monday. I am an x-ray tech in a new ER facility opening up and can't wait to get started.

 

My son, Carson, is 15 months and is such a happy little boy. You can tell he is such a boy, he loves being outside and getting dirty. And he LOVES his trucks and tractors. He has turned into a mama's boy and I love it! I love teaching him new things everyday and he picks up on things so quickly. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by.

Chris and I are getting married..eventually!! He has never been to fond of the whole marriage idea. His mind set is...."if it ain't broke..don't fix it." He's looking at it from a financial stand point, and I'm...well...not! :) To be honest, every time I get on the internet to look at venues and all the details that go into it...I get anxiety. Only bc I HATE planning things. I don't want anything big and elaborate. Something on a smaller intimate scale with close friends and relatives would be fine with us. We are thinking about a beach wedding in Florida. Have any ideas of nice places/venues/beach houses?

We also just bought our first house!! Whoop Whoop! I need to start decorating it so I will be posting ideas or crafts that I am able to find!

I'm so blessed with all of these wonderful things happening in my life! I'm so used to being on my own, I'm kind of on the road to being...domesticated! I'm getting used to taking care of 3 and keeping up the house. I've never been a cook. My cooking skills didn't venture far from the microwave, and now I'm responsible for feeding 2 more mouths! I will be blogging about recipes I will be trying and how they work out. Trust me, Chris will be a hard critic to please.

First blog. Ever.

Hi there! My name is Amy and this is my first blog. EVER. So please bare with me while I get it going. ;) Also, PLEASE leave any feedback, advice, or comments! I would love to hear from you on how to get a blog going or just on life!

I'm 24 yrs old and from good ole' Louisiana. I'm engaged to a wonderful man, Chris, and we have a 15mnth old little boy, Carson. We have so many wonderful things going on in our lives that I can't wait to share our journey with y'all.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the purpose of this blog will be. But, between my future wedding, our new house, and my son; I will have a ton of recipes, crafts, and other things to share with y'all. I am also addicted to Pinterest so I will probably be sharing all of my "attempts" to recreate diy projects and other misc. things! 

I guess that is all for now! Can't wait to start posting!
